GFPT and CP 24

Monday, October 31st, 2005 at 10:13 pm

It’s time for GFPT. Congratulations to Chris for being the first of the group to receive his GFPT. Most of us are scheduled to go through the test within the next week or two. I hope we all pass!

CP24 arrived this past Sunday. Now we have someone to clean our units, do our laundries and any other chores we can think of. Wuhahahaha…… Just kidding guys! Welcome and congratulations on a job well done. We all look forward to spending time with you!

Pool Party & Completion of Module 1

Tuesday, October 11th, 2005 at 8:11 pm

Well, not quite the pool party you would expect. Perhaps a little more exciting though and unsuspecting for others.

We cellebrate as a group for all going First Solo, this also means the completion of Module 1. A tradition after everyone’s solo is to throw them into the pool…..and that is exactly what we did! No one escaped….we do this as a team! If you want to see the video of some of the measures we had to go through [Click Here] or see the link below.

We plan on more original ideas and tortures for completion of other modules =)

Now that we have completed Module 1, we are now reinforcing our flying skills in the circuit area and learning how to deal with unusual situations in the training area, like engine faliures.

Besides flying, we’ve also done a bit of exploring, including victor harbour, check out some of the pictures below.
