Excellent! I now have my own section on this website, how cool is that? Anyway you might want to know a little about me and find out how and why I wanted to become a pilot.

Name: Trevor Slack known as [Trevs]

Age: 20

Interests: Aeroplanes of course! Flying, taking photos, sailing and also importantly- spending lots of time with my friends. Everything you would expect really, I am a normal person too!

Background: I was born and raised in Hong Kong. In fact I am half Cantonese and half British. Despite speaking English most of the time; I can speak very basic Cantonese though I understand more from listening! Nei ho ma?. Like the rest of the people on my course, I have had an interest in planes since the days of Kai Tak. I took my interest further with flight simulator, taking photos of planes, getting involved with the Cathay Pacific [I Can Fly] programme, then I eventually could not find anything else that would satisfy me other than going to study how to fly!. So I undertook a flying course in Australia and this experience confirmed my desire to become a pilot. In fact it made me want to fly even more and so I found myself applying to Cathay Pacific and to make a long story short, was accepted and found myself to be privileged enough to be part of the team of Cadet Pilot Course CP23 in Adelaide.
